Description

Delightful homemade Starbucks cake pops, perfect for snacks, parties, or coffee breaks.


Ingredients

  • 1 box vanilla cake mix (or any cake mix you prefer)
  • 1 cup frosting (vanilla or your favorite flavor)
  • 1 cup melted candy coating (choose your favorite color)
  • Lollipop sticks
  • Sprinkles (optional)

Instructions

  1. Bake the vanilla cake according to the package instructions. Allow it to cool completely.
  2. Once cooled, crumble the cake into a large bowl.
  3. Gradually mix in the frosting until the cake mixture becomes moist enough to hold together.
  4. Shape the mixture into small balls and place them on a baking sheet.
  5. Chill the cake balls in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes to firm them up.
  6. Dip the ends of the lollipop sticks into the melted candy coating, then insert them into the center of each cake ball.
  7. Dip each cake pop into the melted candy coating, letting any excess drip off.
  8. Stand the coated pops in a Styrofoam block to set.
  9. Add sprinkles if desired and let them dry completely before serving.

Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week or in the refrigerator for up to two weeks. Let them come to room temperature before serving.
