- 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
- 8 oz noodles (egg noodles or rice noodles)
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 inch ginger, minced
- 2 tbsp sesame oil
- 2 green onions, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Begin by cooking the noodles according to package instructions. Once done, drain them and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat sesame oil over medium-high heat.
- Add sliced beef to the skillet, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned on all sides.
- Stir in minced garlic and ginger, cooking for an additional minute until fragrant.
- In a bowl, mix together beef broth, soy sauce, and brown sugar.
- Pour the sauce mixture over the beef and bring to a simmer.
- Let the sauce thicken slightly for about 3-5 minutes.
- Toss the cooked noodles into the skillet, coating them evenly with the sauce.
- Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions.
Notes
For added crunch, garnish with sesame seeds or crushed peanuts. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
