Description

A quick and flavorful dish that combines tender beef, egg noodles, and vibrant vegetables in a sweet and savory sauce.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz egg noodles
  • 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 3 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch ginger, minced
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 3 green onions, chopped
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a bowl, combine the sliced beef with soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, and a pinch of salt. Let it marinate for about 15 minutes.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a large pan over medium-high heat.
  4. Add minced garlic and ginger to the pan, sautéing until fragrant.
  5. Add the marinated beef and stir-fry until browned and cooked through.
  6. Toss in the sliced bell pepper and stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes.
  7. Add the cooked noodles to the pan, tossing everything together with sesame oil and chopped green onions.
  8. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  9. Serve hot, and enjoy!

Notes

For a vegetarian version, substitute beef with tofu or tempeh. Consider adding water chestnuts or snap peas for extra crunch.
