- 8 oz egg noodles
- 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 3 tbsp vegetable oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 inch ginger, minced
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 3 green onions, chopped
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- In a bowl, combine the sliced beef with soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, and a pinch of salt. Let it marinate for about 15 minutes.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large pan over medium-high heat.
- Add minced garlic and ginger to the pan, sautéing until fragrant.
- Add the marinated beef and stir-fry until browned and cooked through.
- Toss in the sliced bell pepper and stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes.
- Add the cooked noodles to the pan, tossing everything together with sesame oil and chopped green onions.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve hot, and enjoy!
Notes
For a vegetarian version, substitute beef with tofu or tempeh. Consider adding water chestnuts or snap peas for extra crunch.
