- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 3 tbsp honey
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tsp grated ginger
- 1/2 tsp red chili flakes (optional for some heat)
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 8 oz noodles (rice noodles or egg noodles)
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1 tsp sesame seeds (optional for garnish)
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, mix the soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, grated ginger, and red chili flakes to create a flavorful sauce.
- Toss the chicken pieces with cornstarch until fully coated.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add the coated chicken to the skillet and cook for 6 to 8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden brown and fully cooked.
- Pour the prepared sauce over the chicken and stir until all pieces are coated. Let it simmer for 2 to 3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- While the chicken cooks, prepare the noodles according to package instructions, then drain.
- Add the cooked noodles to the skillet with the chicken, tossing everything together to ensure even coating.
- Top with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving. Serve hot!
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Add a splash of water when reheating to prevent drying.
