- 1 pound sausage (Italian or your choice)
- 8 ounces pasta (penne or rotini)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- In a large skillet, cook the sausage over medium heat until it’s browned. Remove the sausage and set it aside.
- In the same skillet, add olive oil and sauté the minced garlic until it becomes fragrant.
- Combine the honey, soy sauce, and red pepper flakes in the skillet; stir to blend.
- Cook the pasta according to the package instructions until it’s al dente. Drain it, then add to the skillet, tossing to coat it in the sauce.
- Add the cooked sausage back to the skillet and mix until everything is well combined.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Garnish with chopped parsley before serving to brighten up the dish.
