Ingredients

  • 8 ounces pasta (penne or rotini)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, cook the sausage over medium heat until it’s browned. Remove the sausage and set it aside.
  2. In the same skillet, add olive oil and sauté the minced garlic until it becomes fragrant.
  3. Combine the honey, soy sauce, and red pepper flakes in the skillet; stir to blend.
  4. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions until it’s al dente. Drain it, then add to the skillet, tossing to coat it in the sauce.
  5. Add the cooked sausage back to the skillet and mix until everything is well combined.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving to brighten up the dish.
