  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda

  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • ½ cup buttermilk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a donut mold pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix the melted butter, sugar, eggs, buttermilk, vanilla extract, and pureed strawberries until well combined.
  4. Gradually incorporate the dry mixture into the wet mixture, stirring gently until just combined.
  5. Pour the batter into the donut mold, filling each cavity about two-thirds full.
  6. Bake for 15-18 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into a donut comes out clean.
