  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

  • 1 teaspoon baking soda

  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup strawberry jam

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth and fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually incorporate these dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  5. Gently fold in the softened cream cheese until well blended into the dough.
  6. Using a tablespoon, drop mounds of dough onto a prepared baking sheet, making an indentation in the center of each cookie.
  7. Fill each indentation with strawberry jam.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges turn lightly golden.
  9. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet before transferring them to a wire rack.
