- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1 can strawberry pie filling
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and sugar, beating until smooth and creamy.
- Add in the milk and vanilla extract, mixing until well incorporated.
- Pour the strawberry pie filling into the bottom of the greased baking dish.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture over the pie filling.
- Evenly sprinkle the dry yellow cake mix over the cream cheese layer.
- Drizzle the melted butter generously over the dry cake mix.
- Bake for 50-55 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the cake is set.
- Allow the cake to cool slightly before serving.
Notes
