Description
A fun twist on a classic dessert, these Strawberry Shortcake Sushi Rolls combine strawberries and whipped cream wrapped in sushi rice and nori.

			- 1 cup strawberries, sliced
 - 1 cup whipped cream
 - 2 cups sushi rice
 - 3 tablespoons sugar
 - 1/4 cup sweetened condensed milk
 - 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
 - Nori (seaweed sheets)
 - Powdered sugar for dusting
 
Instructions
- Cook sushi rice according to package instructions. Mix cooked rice with sugar, sweetened condensed milk, and vanilla extract while it’s still warm.
 - Lay out a sheet of nori on a bamboo sushi mat.
 - Spread a layer of the sweetened sushi rice over the nori, leaving a small border at the top.
 - Place sliced strawberries and a dollop of whipped cream in the center of the rice.
 - Carefully roll the nori away from you, using the mat to keep everything tight until you reach the border.
 - Moisten the border with water to seal the roll.
 - Slice the roll into bite-sized pieces and dust with powdered sugar before serving.
 
Notes
These rolls are best served chilled. Consider adding a drizzle of chocolate sauce for an extra treat.
