  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Wash the sweet potatoes thoroughly and pierce them with a fork.
  3. Place them on a baking sheet and bake for 45-60 minutes until tender.
  4. In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
  5. Add the diced apples, followed by cinnamon, nutmeg, and brown sugar. Cook until the apples soften, about 5-7 minutes.
  6. Once the sweet potatoes are cooked, let them cool slightly and slice them open lengthwise.
  7. Scoop out a bit of the sweet potato flesh to create space for the filling.
  8. Fill each potato with your spiced apple mixture, then drizzle maple syrup over the top.
  9. Return to the oven for an extra 10 minutes.
  10. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes
