Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Cream the butter and sugar in a stand mixer until just combined.
  2. Add the egg and extracts, beating until mixed thoroughly.
  3. Add flour and salt, mixing until no streaks of flour remain visible.
  4. Chill the dough in a flat disk wrapped in plastic wrap for at least an hour.
  5. Preheat the oven to 350°F and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  6. Roll out the dough on a floured surface and cut out shapes.
  7. Bake for 8 to 12 minutes, depending on size.
  8. Allow cookies to cool on a wire rack before serving.
