Delicious and easy apple fritters made in an air fryer, perfect for any time of day.
Ingredients

- 2 cups peeled and diced apples (any tart variety)
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Cooking spray or oil for the air fryer
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
- In another bowl, combine milk, egg, and vanilla extract and whisk until smooth.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry, mixing until just combined. Fold in the diced apples gently.
- Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray.
- Using a spoon, drop small amounts of the fritter batter into the basket, leaving space between each.
- Spray the tops lightly with cooking spray.
- Air fry for 10-12 minutes, flipping them halfway through for even cooking.
- Allow them to cool slightly before serving.
Notes
For a festive touch, you can add a splash of bourbon or rum to the batter.
