Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Cooking spray or oil for the air fryer

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, combine milk, egg, and vanilla extract and whisk until smooth.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry, mixing until just combined. Fold in the diced apples gently.
  5. Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray.
  6. Using a spoon, drop small amounts of the fritter batter into the basket, leaving space between each.
  7. Spray the tops lightly with cooking spray.
  8. Air fry for 10-12 minutes, flipping them halfway through for even cooking.
  9. Allow them to cool slightly before serving.
