- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 bag of frozen tater tots
- 1/2 cup onion, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef with the chopped onion. Drain any excess fat.
- Stir in the cream of mushroom soup, along with salt and pepper to your liking.
- Spoon the meat mixture into a baking dish, spreading it evenly across the bottom.
- Carefully layer the tater tots on top of the beef mixture.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the tater tots.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden brown and crispy.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
Notes
For enhanced flavor, consider adding garlic powder or Italian seasoning to the beef. This dish can also be frozen for longer storage.
