Description
Quick, fun, and flavorful tortellini snacks perfect for parties or casual gatherings. Crispy on the outside and creamy inside, these bites are sure to impress.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 package Tortellini (fresh or frozen)
- 1 cup Marinara Sauce (for dipping)
- 2 tablespoons Butter (or olive oil as a substitute)
- 1 teaspoon Chili Flakes
- 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese (substitute with nutritional yeast for a dairy-free option)
- 2 tablespoons Minced Italian Parsley (optional for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the tortellini: Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add the tortellini and cook until al dente, according to package directions.
- Drain and sauté: Once cooked, drain the pasta and set aside. In a large skillet, melt the butter (or olive oil) over medium heat. Add the tortellini and sauté until they’re golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes.
- Season to perfection: If desired, add chili flakes for a spicy kick while the tortellini are cooking.
- Finish with cheese: Sprinkle the Parmesan cheese over the tortellini, allowing it to melt and coat each bite.
- Garnish: If using, sprinkle with minced parsley just before serving.
- Serve with marinara: Transfer the tortellini to a serving dish with marinara sauce on the side for dipping. Enjoy!
Notes
For an extra crunch, consider using breadcrumbs when sautéing. Feel free to experiment with different sauces for dipping.
