Ingredients
Scale
- 20 oz cheese tortellini (fresh or refrigerated)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- ½ teaspoon paprika
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
- Fresh parsley, finely chopped (optional)
- Marinara sauce for dipping
- Ranch dressing or pesto for dipping (optional)
Instructions
- In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil.
- Cook the cheese tortellini according to the package instructions, generally 3-5 minutes, until tender.
- Drain and let the tortellini cool slightly.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Add the cooked tortellini to the bowl and gently toss until they’re well coated.
- Baking Option: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Spread the seasoned tortellini on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake for 12-15 minutes until they turn golden and crispy.
- Air Fryer Option: Place the tortellini in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Air fry at 375°F (190°C) for 8-10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to ensure even cooking.
- Transfer the crispy tortellini to a serving platter. Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese and fresh parsley if desired.
- Serve warm with marinara sauce, ranch dressing, or pesto for dipping.
Notes
These tortellini bites are best enjoyed fresh, but can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Reheat in the air fryer for a crispy texture.
