Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
- 1 onion, diced

- Butter for toasting
Instructions
- In a skillet, heat a bit of oil over medium heat.
- Add the diced onion and minced garlic, sautéing until softened and fragrant.
- Toss in the ground beef, breaking it apart as it cooks. Season with Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper while browning.
- Once the beef is cooked through, remove it from the heat and add the shredded cheese. Stir until melted and well combined.
- Butter one side of each slice of bread.
- Place one slice of bread butter-side down in the skillet. Spoon in the beef and cheese mixture, then top with another slice of bread, butter-side up.
