Ingredients

- 2 sheets of puff pastry
- 30g of caster or granulated sugar
- 2 heaped teaspoons of ground cinnamon
- 4 large apples (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp)
- Dairy-free milk (for brushing)
- Vegan caramel sauce (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (392°F).
- Peel, core, and slice the apples into thin wedges. Toss with sugar and cinnamon.
- Roll out the puff pastry sheets on a floured surface and cut into squares.
- Place apple slices in the center of each pastry square and fold over, sealing edges.
- Brush the tops with dairy-free milk.
- Bake on a lined tray for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
- Cool slightly before serving, drizzling with additional vegan caramel if desired.
Notes
For a twist, add chopped nuts to the filling or try different apple varieties.
