Ingredients

- 2 cans cream of mushroom soup (10.5 oz each)
- 4 cups frozen green beans
- ½ cup milk
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 1½ cups French-fried onions, divided
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
Instructions
- Spray the crockpot insert with nonstick spray.
- In a mixing bowl, combine cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, and black pepper. Stir until well mixed.
- Add frozen green beans and shredded cheddar cheese (if using), and mix thoroughly.
- Transfer the mixture into the crockpot, spreading it evenly.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 4 hours or HIGH for 2 hours.
- Uncover the crockpot and sprinkle remaining fried onions over the top.
- Cook for an additional 30 minutes on LOW or WARM until onions are golden and crispy.
- Serve warm straight from the crockpot.
Notes
Can substitute cream of mushroom soup for a homemade version for a fresher flavor. Optional creative twists include using cream of chicken or different cheeses.
