Description

Ingredients

  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 packet (2 1/4 teaspoons) active dry yeast
  • 1 cup warm milk
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Combine warm milk and yeast in a large bowl and let it sit for about 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. Add melted butter, sugar, eggs, and salt to the frothy mixture and mix well.
  3. Gradually add flour, kneading until the dough is smooth and elastic.
  4. Let the dough rise in a warm place for about an hour, or until it doubles in size.
  5. Roll out the dough into a rectangle and spread with melted butter, then sprinkle cinnamon and brown sugar.
  6. Roll the dough tightly into a log and slice it into pieces.
  7. Place slices in a greased baking dish and let rise again for 30 minutes.
  8. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Let cool slightly before serving.
