Description
Delicious and easy-to-make frozen treats made with fresh strawberries, creamy Greek yogurt, and rich chocolate.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 1/2 cups chopped strawberries
- 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 2 tbsp coconut oil
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine chopped strawberries, Greek yogurt, honey, and vanilla extract. Mix thoroughly until well combined.
- Scoop about 2 tablespoons of the yogurt mixture onto a parchment paper-lined baking sheet, forming clusters. Aim to make around 10 clusters.
- Freeze the clusters for 1-2 hours until solid and firm.
- While the clusters are freezing, melt the chocolate. Place the chocolate chips and coconut oil in a microwave-safe bowl and microwave in 15 to 30-second intervals, stirring frequently until melted and smooth.
- Remove the frozen yogurt clusters from the freezer. Using a spoon, dip each cluster into the melted chocolate, ensuring they are completely covered.
- Place the chocolate-coated clusters back on the prepared baking sheet. If desired, sprinkle a pinch of sea salt on top.
- Return them to the freezer for a few minutes to let the chocolate harden and the yogurt firm up. Enjoy your homemade treats!
Notes
For added crunch, consider mixing in some crushed nuts or granola to the yogurt mixture before scooping. You can also experiment with different fruits like raspberries or blueberries.
