A comforting and delicious chicken casserole with creamy soups and a crunchy Ritz cracker topping.
Ingredients

- 4 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 (10.5 ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup
- 1 (10.5 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
- 1 cup crushed Ritz crackers
- 4 tablespoons butter, melted
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, cream of chicken soup, cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Stir well until everything is evenly mixed.
- Fold in 1 cup of the shredded cheddar cheese into the chicken mixture.
- Transfer the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish. Spread it evenly.
- In another bowl, mix the crushed Ritz crackers with the remaining 1 cup of cheddar cheese and the melted butter. Sprinkle this mixture evenly over the chicken blend in the baking dish.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the casserole is bubbly and the topping is golden brown.
Notes
For storage, allow leftovers to cool and keep in an airtight container for up to 3 days in the refrigerator or freeze for up to 2 months.
