Description

Transform gnocchi into a crispy wonder in the air fryer, perfect as a snack or side dish.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb gnocchi (shelf-stable, refrigerated, or frozen)
  • 12 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 23 tbsp freshly grated parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 390°F.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the gnocchi, olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. If using frozen gnocchi, keep them frozen.
  3. Add the seasoned gnocchi to the preheated air fryer basket in a single layer.
  4. For shelf-stable or refrigerated gnocchi, air fry for 11-14 minutes, shaking the basket every 4-5 minutes until golden and crispy.
  5. For frozen gnocchi, air fry for 13-16 minutes using the same shaking technique until golden and crispy.
  6. Enjoy immediately, garnished with extra parmesan cheese and fresh parsley.

Notes

Don’t overcrowd the air fryer for optimal crispness. Experiment with different cheeses and seasonings for varied flavors.
