Description
Indulge in the rich flavors of ribeye steaks coated in a velvety Parmesan cream sauce.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 pieces Ribeye Steaks (about 1-inch thick, 8 oz each)
- Salt and Pepper to taste
- 4 tablespoons Butter (divided)
- 4 cloves Garlic (minced)
- 1/2 cup Heavy Cream
- 1/2 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
- 1 tablespoon Fresh Parsley (chopped, for garnish)
Instructions
- Season the ribeye steaks evenly with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and melt 2 tablespoons of butter.
- Once the butter is bubbling, add the steaks to the skillet. Sear for about 4-5 minutes on one side.
- Flip the steaks using tongs; add the remaining butter and minced garlic. Cook for another 4-5 minutes for medium-rare.
- Remove the steaks from the skillet and allow them to rest for 5 minutes.
- Lower the skillet heat to medium. Pour in the heavy cream, whisking continuously to loosen any browned bits from the bottom.
- Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and continue whisking until the sauce thickens, approximately 3-4 minutes. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper as needed.
- Slice the steaks, plate them, and generously drizzle the Parmesan cream sauce over the top. Garnish with chopped parsley.
Notes
For the best flavor and tenderness, let your steaks come to room temperature for 30 minutes before cooking. Use a meat thermometer for perfect doneness—130°F for medium-rare.
