- 1 lb ground chicken
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, chopped parsley, egg, salt, and pepper. Mix until well blended.
- Mold the mixture into a loaf shape and place it in a baking dish.
- Create a well in the center and press shredded mozzarella cheese into it.
- Pour marinara sauce over the top and sprinkle with additional breadcrumbs.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Let the meatloaf rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
