- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- Lemon juice for serving
Instructions
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute, or until fragrant.
- Toss in the broccoli florets and stir-fry for about 4-5 minutes, until bright green and tender.
- Push the broccoli to one side of the skillet and add the shrimp.
- Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes, if using.
- Cook the shrimp for about 3-4 minutes, or until they turn pink and opaque.
- Mix the shrimp with the broccoli and cook for an additional minute to combine flavors.
- Squeeze lemon juice over the top before serving.
Notes
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator and consume within 2-3 days. Reheat gently over low heat.
