Instructions

  1. Prepare the Dough: Mix 150 grams of flour, 80 grams of butter, 100 ml of water, and 100 ml of milk in a bowl until smooth. Add salt and baking powder.
  2. Combine the Dough: Beat in 4 eggs one at a time, ensuring each is well incorporated.
  3. Bake the Base: Pour the mixture into a greased cake pan and bake at 180°C (350°F) for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown.
  4. Make the Cream Filling: Heat 500 ml of milk with 150 grams of sugar. Whisk 100 grams of flour with 2 eggs, then slowly add the hot milk mixture. Cook until thickened.
  5. Assemble the Cake: Slice the base in half, spread half of the cream filling, place the top layer, and cover with remaining filling. Refrigerate.
  6. Finish Up: Dust with icing sugar or garnish and serve. Enjoy!
