- 2 cups shredded cooked chicken
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup crushed buttery crackers (like Ritz)
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, and half of the cheddar cheese. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish and spread it out evenly.
- In another bowl, mix your crushed crackers with the melted butter, then sprinkle over the chicken mixture.
- Add the remaining cheddar cheese on top for that gooey goodness.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, until bubbly and golden on top.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
Feel free to substitute rotisserie chicken for quicker prep or low-fat sour cream for a healthier version. Consider adding sautéed onions or a sprinkle of paprika for extra flavor.
