Description
A delightful and easy-to-make creamy garlic pasta dish that’s perfect for busy weeknights.
Ingredients
- Pasta (any shape, like penne or spaghetti)
- Garlic (minced for the best flavor)
- Milk (whole or 2% for creaminess)
- Parmesan cheese (freshly grated is ideal)
- Butter (for sautéing)
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
- Parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Begin by melting butter over medium heat in a large pot. Once bubbling, add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Add pasta and enough milk and water to cover it. Season generously with salt and pepper.
- Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer. Cook until the pasta is al dente, stirring occasionally until the liquid thickens into a creamy sauce.
- Stir in grated Parmesan cheese, allowing it to melt and blend seamlessly with the pasta.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.
Notes
For extra flavor, add a pinch of red pepper flakes when sautéing garlic. You can also substitute Parmesan with nutritional yeast for a dairy-free version.
