- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 green pepper, chopped
- 1 cup beef broth
- 2 tablespoons A-1 sauce
- 1 teaspoon steak seasoning
- 4 toasted buns
- 4 slices provolone cheese
Instructions
- Warm a large skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef and brown thoroughly, stirring occasionally. Drain excess fat.
- Toss in chopped onion and green pepper, cooking until softened, about 4-5 minutes.
- Pour in beef broth, A-1 sauce, and steak seasoning. Stir to combine.
- Allow mixture to simmer for about 10 minutes until heated through and slightly thickened.
- While filling simmers, toast buns until golden brown.
- Serve beef mixture on toasted buns and top with a slice of provolone cheese. Enjoy!
