Ingredients

  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 green pepper, chopped
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons A-1 sauce
  • 1 teaspoon steak seasoning
  • 4 toasted buns
  • 4 slices provolone cheese

Instructions

  1. Warm a large skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef and brown thoroughly, stirring occasionally. Drain excess fat.
  2. Toss in chopped onion and green pepper, cooking until softened, about 4-5 minutes.
  3. Pour in beef broth, A-1 sauce, and steak seasoning. Stir to combine.
  4. Allow mixture to simmer for about 10 minutes until heated through and slightly thickened.
  5. While filling simmers, toast buns until golden brown.
