Description
A delightful brioche loaf that blends rich, buttery dough with sweet tart raspberry jam, creating a visually appealing and delicious treat perfect for brunch or dessert.
Ingredients
Scale
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons active dry yeast
- 1/2 cup whole milk, warmed
- 3 large eggs
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup raspberry jam
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, sugar, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, pour the warmed milk and dissolve the active dry yeast. Let it sit until foamy, about 5-10 minutes.
- Add the eggs and softened butter to the yeast mixture, then blend it well with the dry ingredients.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface until it becomes smooth and elastic, about 8-10 minutes. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise until doubled in size, roughly 1 hour.
- Roll the dough into a rectangle, spread raspberry jam evenly across the surface, and roll it up tightly.
- Twist the rolled dough and place it in a greased loaf pan.
- Let the dough rise again until puffy, about 30 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let it cool before slicing.
