- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup milk
- 1 large egg
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup cinnamon sugar (for topping)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, mix the milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients. Stir gently until just combined; don’t overmix!
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and lightly grease it with cooking spray or a small amount of butter.
- Pour 1/4 cup of batter into the skillet for each pancake.
- Cook until bubbles form on the surface; then flip and cook until golden brown.
- Once cooked, immediately sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.
- Repeat with the remaining batter and serve while warm!
Notes
Consider pairing with fresh fruit, whipped cream, or chocolate sauce for added flavor. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days.
